The Pool Hoist
Villa Olivo's swimming pool is equipped with a hydraulic, water-powered hoist that allows easy, safe, and secure access to the pool for wheelchair users and guests with impaired mobility. The hoist is easy to use and can typically be operated independently.
There is no reliance on electricity for the hoist — the water-powered hydraulic mechanism means it works reliably regardless of power supply.
Solar Pool Heating
The pool is heated by a solar heating system that maintains the water at approximately 26°C from mid-April through to October, varying with the weather. In peak summer (July–August), pool temperatures typically reach 28–30°C.
A solar cover is used to retain heat overnight and reduce debris — making morning swims comfortable even early in the season.
